Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Bio
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) brings its combat-sports card to Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on. Founded in April 2018 by Philadelphia native David Feldman, BKFC became the first promotion to stage an officially state-sanctioned bare-knuckle boxing event in the United States since 1889. The organization had held more than 140 events by the end of 2025 and has developed a larger profile through fighters with boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai backgrounds. Conor McGregor became a part owner in 2024.
BKFC cards feature multiple bouts in its distinctive circular raised ring, known as the Squared Circle. Each bout is scheduled for five two-minute rounds, with a full event typically running three to four hours, including intermissions. Walkout music, arena lighting, video boards, and commentary shape the live production. The promotion's event history includes the KnuckleMania series and the BKFC Prospects Series, launched in 2023.
Philadelphia is especially relevant to BKFC's story: the organization is headquartered in the city, and its founder established the promotion there. The July 3 card offers local fans a chance to see the Philadelphia-based organization in a major arena setting. The event listing does not specify a tour name, fight card, or previous BKFC dates at this venue.
